Payment Policy

When a booking is created, a minimum of one night's accommodation will be charged to secure your reservation. In peak season, full payment may be charged straight away, or 30 days before arrival.

For online booking, you will be required to provide credit card details to proceed with the booking and will be charged immediately.

For phone or email booking, you will be requested to give credit card information. By agreement, you may be allowed to deposit via online banking to secure your booking within 1 banking day and 14 days in advance of check in, whichever is sooner. Direct bank transfers are only acceptable in NZD to ANZ: 06-0413-0517358-46. Please use your name and booking number as reference.

If your credit card payment is declined or bank transfer deposit for bookings is not received in time, your booking may be cancelled without further notice.

The balance or extra fees if any need to be paid upon check in. Extended nights must be paid for at the time of extending. Damage or incidentals incurred must be settled before departure.

Any damage/loss to the property, communal blocks, and/or accommodation which is caused by you, any person in your booking, or your visitors, will result in costs of repair (and any insurance excess). This will be charged directly, either fully or partly, to you as the registered guest. We reserve the right to charge you for any extra cleaning required or loss of income due to the unit or facilities being unavailable.

For group booking, a bond will also be required, payable before arrival.

Cancellation Policy

~INDIVIDUAL bookings for 1-2 units/sites only~

$25 handling fee applies to any cancellation.

Peak season cancellation policy:

Payment on bookings cancelled more than 30 days prior to arrival will be refunded fully except the handling fee. Cancellations less than 30 days but more than 14 days prior to arrival will be charged for one night. Cancellations within 14 days before arrival are completely non-refundable for the whole booking.

Low season cancellation policy:

Payment on bookings cancelled more than 48 hours prior to arrival will be refunded fully except handling fee.

Cancellations less than 48 hours before arrival are non-refundable for the whole booking.

In the case of a "no show", no refund for the whole booking without any further notice.

 

~GROUP Bookings (for 3 units/sites or more)~

$50 handling fee applies to any group cancellation.

PEAK season:
- Payment on bookings cancelled more than 60 days prior to arrival will be refunded fully except $50 handling fee.
- Cancellations less than 60 days but more than 30 days prior to arrival will be charged for one night.
- Cancellations within 30 days before arrival are completely non-refundable for the whole booking.

LOW season:
- Payment on bookings cancelled more than 30 days prior to arrival will be refunded fully except $50 handling fee.
- Cancellations within 30 days before arrival are completely non-refundable for the whole booking.

Any discount offered will be subject to payment on time. A bond will be required from groups.

Important - after check in there will be no refund in any circumstance for the whole group booking, e.g. in case of early departure.

We are not responsible for bad weather, personal medical situations, wrong date booked, change of travel plans, event cancellation etc.

DEFINITIONS:
Peak season is from September through to the end of May, plus any NZ public holiday weekends, school holidays, and special events in Rotorua.
Low season is from June through to the end of August excluding NZ public holiday weekends, school holidays, and special events in Rotorua.

Child Policy

A baby under 12 months old is FREE of charge when accompanying a paid adult. If a cot/bed and bedding is requested, $15.00 surcharge per night per baby will apply.

Children aged 1-12 years old at time of stay will be charged at child rates.

Age 13 and up, adult rates apply.

It is the parent/guardian's responsibility to supervise your baby and children at all times while staying at our Holiday Park.

Other

Listed price is for two persons, per night. Extra person or extra bedding will require extra charge. Bedding and 1 bath towel are prepared for every person included in the paid booking. Extra towels may be hired for a small fee, depending on availability. No room service.

No Smoking in any room.

Limited free WIFI, 300mb per device per day. Unlimited vouchers can be purchased at reception during office hours.

We welcome pets with camping guests by arrangement, except no dogs allowed on site between 25 December - 31 January.

Local attraction discounts are available at reception.

Early / late check in, or late check out by arrangement only. Extra charges may apply.

We do not usually provide cash withdrawals. Please ensure you bring enough cash for any deposit/bond required, or to exchange for coins to use in the laundry. In case of need we may offer cash withdrawals via EFTPOS only and with 10% bank fee added.
