Many Cosy Cottage International Holiday Park guests want to do the Tongariro Alpine crossing. We thought it time to go and find out for ourselves. A tough 6 – 8 hour alpine walk with fantastic vistas in unbelievable landscape. SUPERB! We have all the info and NATURAL HOT POOLS in which to soak your aching limbs when you get back to Cosy Cottage, Rotorua. Just what the doctor ordered!

The tournament is split over 2 weekends in April this year easing the demand for group accommodation in Rotorua. Thank you to those teams returning and to other teams coming for the first time to stay at Cosy Cottage, have a great weekend.

Accommodation in Rotorua at Cosy Cottage was full of with happy Reggae fans. Our shuttle bus delivered fans direct to the stadium on time See you again at Ragamuffin 2012.

Hot off the press, another reason to visit Rotorua. Here’s an excerpt from an email I just received.
Great news from the Best Towns and Cities Awards function held at Parliament in Wellington last night.
Yes, Rotorua has been voted NEW ZEALAND’S BEST CITY … and Rotorua’s population 0f 68,000 was up against Christchurch with a huge population of 375,000.
This is an excellent result – the 6th time we’ve won the award in 11 years.

Rotorua International Stadium is ten minutes drive from Cosy Cottage International Holiday Park. The Stadium Hosts international sporting events and major rugby fixtures. (Raggamuffin, Global fest, and The Searchlight Tattoo are successfully staged at the stadium)
There is a large car park and shuttle bus service to certain events.

We had a full house over the weekend with many of the competitors, support people and even TV crew for the 2010 Smokefree Pacifica Beats National Final.
Congratulations to Te Paamu, who won the title of 2010 SFPB Grand Champions AND 1stprize package of a $10,000 NZonAir Song & Music Video recording grant AND $3000 to spend at MusicWorks.
